Oh funny...He just did a cover version of a song by a friend's band (who knows I am a perfume nut). Wait till I tell him how our worlds have unexpectedly collided. : - )
Olfacta and Vanessa:
Since we're all Iggy Pop fans here, I can reveal my own story.
At the World Science Festival this June, I walked into the green room before my event and came face to face with a certain olfactory artist. My first reaction was "Boy, she's really tan for a Norwegian. Looks like a basted turkey."
On stage during the panel discussion, my mind began to wander once I realized I couldn't make heads or tails of what she was saying. But there was this odd sense of familiarity. The shock of bleached hair . . . the intense eyes . . . the saggy, leathery skin . . .
Then it hit me: She's the female Iggy Pop!
